After many months of uncertainty, we are pleased to announce that the Royal British Legion in Ellon has opened
It's doors again on 22 July. Initially, opening hours will be reduced until Government Guidance allows more freedom to further amend these. The new opening hours can be found on the home page and in the Social Club section.
Please be aware that we have had to impose some temporary rules and measures as we slowly transition to the new normal. We have also introduced a one way system for moving through the building. This and other information is clearly marked with signs displayed throughout. All information is displayed on the notice boards as you enter the club. Please take time to read these on your first visit to the club. We appreciate your cooperation and support with these new temporary rules, and we hope you feel safe visiting the Ellon Royal British Legion. Let’s all work together to stay healthy and hopefully your Legion will be back to normal ASAP.
Please wash or sanitise your hands upon arrival and regularly thereafter during your visit.
You, or one member of your group, must complete a form upon arrival providing your name, address and contact details. This is a requirement of the Governments ‘track and trace’ policy and is a mandatory requirement. Failure to comply will result in entry being refused.
Hand sanitiser stations will be available throughout the Legion; please use these as frequently as possible.
Please bring your own sanitisers with you for your own personal use at your table.
Please maintain social distancing, in accordance with current Government guidance, at all times.
A one-way system is in operation for movements withing the building; please respect and follow the signage.
An ‘order and collect’ system will be in operation at the bar.
Only one person per table to place orders at the bar. Please try and ensure that the same person visits the bar to place orders as far as possible during your visit.
No standing at bar or tables allowed.
No table swapping or moving of chairs.
Only one person in the toilets at a time.
Tables & chairs are sanitised in between customers so please be patient while we do this.
Masks or face coverings are welcome.
Make sure your phones are fully charged as we cannot charge them for you.
No juke box, gaming machines, darts, or pool will be available.
No sport can be shown on the TV.
If you are bringing your dog, please bring along its own water bowl which you can fill up in the toilets. Dogs must be kept on a lead.
