This year marks 100 years since the formation of the legion and the Poppy was used as a symbol of remembrance for all those who fell in the Great War, this years parade will be on Sunday 14th November, forming up at 1015 am in the car park at Victoria Hall ready to step off to be at the War memorial for 1025 am, once the wreath laying ceremony has been done there will be a church service for those wishing to attend, after the church service the parade will form up again at the War memorial before heading back to the Victoria hall about midday, where you are welcome to come into the legion clubrooms for soup and tea or coffee.
